Hours of entertainment for the kids during quarantine!

We have all heard, "Practice makes perfect", but really this repetition helps cut down work for the parent. Looking for a fun way to keep your kids entertained over and over and over again? Dry erase activities, have totally helped our homeschooling world. Just laminate or use page protectors, and get a dry erase marker, and now you are set for hours of activities!!!! This dry erase activity book is a fun idea for kids of all ages.

Design you activity book to fit your child's needs:

  • Step 1: Get something to hold the activity sheets, this can be a binder, a folder, photo album, or something of that sort.

  • Step 2: Pick out your activity sheets, you can get a learning activity books, coloring books, planners, calendars, lined writing paper from the store (dollar stores often have these very cost effective), or print sheets offline like HangMan, I Spy pages, Tic Tac Toe, Sudoku, and other fun games.

  • Step 3: Just laminate or use page protectors for the sheets you want to use over and over again, if it's pages from a book just cut out the pages.

  • Step 4: Put the activity sheets together in the holder from step one. Be sure to mix in fun and learning in the same book to keep things fun.

  • Step 5: Get a dry erase marker and invite your children to have a ball (ON THE ACTIVITY PAGES).

  • Step 6: Have them keep a tissue handy to erase each page after they finish.

Anyone losing track of what day it is when you never leave your house? We made a page in our activity book with the days of the week, months of the year, and number day of month, so LJ can still practice that every day. So be sure to customize your book to the child.

What a novel idea. Anyone else have any great ideas for keeping the kiddos on track during quarantine? We would love to hear what great things you have come up with.
